“The MX might not be the sleekest transmitter on the market but the performance, range and duration are proving to be very satisfactory, to say I'm impressed would be an understatement”

“What impresed me so much is that my receiver took me straight to the transmiter with pin point accuracy. I wonder how many systems could have done that so well...not many!! well done Falconry Electronics”

Many Thanks,   Nigs

An extract from one of the more unusual track downs of 2009 - David H was at hand to record this event on camera.

But all this was nothing - and I mean nothing - compared to one dive that Mark's Red Tail made. I was stood on top of a hill waiting for Mark to take his slip. Sure enough off she went down the hill below both mark and I. Mark ran after her and I got a great view of one of those spectacular dives. But then ..... nothing! Mark was running about trying to find her, I stayed on the higher ground trying to see if I could see her, but no - nothing. We were both running backwards and forwards trying to see where she had gone, up or down the valley, in a tree, on the ground in some dried ferns - no - nothing. Mark got out his telemetry and scanned for her signal - he tracked back to our original location where I had see her dive down. But she wasn't there. Heart's start to race at this point - where the hell is she? Mark walked further down the hill and the signal faded, turned around, signal strong again. More frantic running about and then Mark identifies a hole in the ground and there she is deep inside the hole, about 10 foot down with the rabbit. I climbed down to lend assistance as Mark takes off his coat and jumpers in an attempt to squeeze into the pot hole and recover his bird. All I manage to do is create a land slide of rocks all which fall down next to the hole - thankfully by this time Mark is in the hole protected from the falling rocks!

I got there just in time to take the following pics.

This is the third time in four years my telemetry has paid for itself. Without it I would have walked straight past this hole resulting in a lost bird.

I can’t thank Falconry Electronics enough.
