Merlin

The FMV series are standard falconry transmitters. Standard only in appearance, this design of transmitter really has stood the test of time. Ultra reliable and favoured by the professional falconer who needs a rugged unit that will continue to pump out the power, hour after hour, day after day in the most demanding conditions. They operate on a powerful 3 volt, two stage based circuit housed in rugged high density epoxy resin. A brass bracket allows easy and simple insertion and removal of batteries, this bracket includes an integral slot at the end for leg / neck mount attachment. An additional tail mount spring clip is now available for the large and standard transmitters only. Also included is a convenient replaceable screw in antenna made of nylon coated steel wire.
